Literacy Resource Centre for NFE Practitioners, Bangladesh

Bangladesh Literacy Resource Centre (BLRC) formed in 1995 with the assistance of ACCU, Japan. Since its inception, the BLRC has been an active member of Literacy Resource Centres for Girls and Women (LRC) programme network of ACCU. The LRC network of ACCU has 18 member organisations in 17 countries of the Asia Pacific region and promotes literacy and non-formal education (NFE) through various activities, such as materials and curriculum development, training, networking, information sharing and advocacy.

In 2017, the Bangladesh Literacy Centre changed its name to the "Bangladesh Learning Resource Centre (BLRC)" and became a repository of education, skills training and lifelong learning materials and in Bangladesh.  The Centre is continously collecting, preserving, exchanging and sharing resources, information and expertise with other network members, individuals and organisations.
